Topping the schedule is headlining band Lady Antebellum, who recently won the Group Video of the Year award at the Country Music Television Awards. They are taking a detour from their own “Need You Now” tour to perform at Sunday in the Country this September 26th at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md.

Joining Lady A on the bill is: Gloriana, Eric Church, Joe Nichols, Matt Kennon, and former American Idol contestant Bucky Covington. Sunday in the Country celebrates American country music, and premium seating is available from GreatSeats.com, a national ticket broker specializing in concert tickets, as well as baseball tickets and football tickets - two other great American pastimes. This one-day festival is an awesome way to see these rising stars all in one place and for once price before they each make it big!

Though the line-up won’t be announced by 93.1 WPOC until July 12, the event has been confirmed for Sept. 26. As in years past, it’s expected to be held at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md.

Last year’s headlining acts included Darius Rucker, Little Big Town, the Zac Brown Band, Keith Anderson, Jason Michael Carroll, Trent Tomlinson, and Love & Theft. Many of these acts went on to have tremendous success, such as receiving country music awards and headlining or supporting other country music acts on tour. Sunday in the Country is a great place to see up and coming talent before they make it really big!

Country acts including Darius Rucker, Little Big Town and Zac Brown joined forces to entertain their fans at the Merriweather Post Pavilion on Sunday, September 27th.

Justin Jones kicked off the event, followed by Love & Theft, Trent Tomlinson, Jason Michael Carroll, Keith Anderson, Zac Brown, Little Big Town and Darius Rucker.

Rucker, the headliner of the event, is hot off of a summer tour with Rascal Flatts.  The former Hootie and the Blowfish frontman has found major success on the country scene!
